Who is she?
Laura Du Vé Creative+ offers services in Photography, Styling, Videography, Plus size Modeling & Make Up Artistry.
She is about individuality & more equal representation in media.
Laura Du Vé has worked the last five years within the fashion industry, in both Australia & the US, focusing in on inclusivity in plus sizing and creating more dynamic photography featuring plus size women. She feels it incredibly important to create dialogue around the importance of fun statement clothing for plus size women in the Australian market, in order for women and plus size people to create a stronger sense of self worth and positivity. It's shown that self expression can create confidence. Plus size women in Australia have fewer options then the regular straight sized market, and she is making it her mission for curvy women to not only love and accept their bodies but to create a more inclusive fashion industry with more options for fun fashion forward statement pieces within plus sizing. You can find her on Instagram @femmeplastic preaching self love, and body acceptance.
Laura Du Vé has been consistently freelance modelling since 2014. She has walked Independent runways, Melbourne Fashion week, and more recently VAMFF for Remuse Designs, featured in Vogue Australia.
She was featured as one of Bustle's 'must follow list' in Feb 2018, and in May 2018 was nominated as one of Go Magazine's 2018 Top 100 creative lesbian & queer women making a difference in the arts, entertainment, sports, politics, business and activism.
